TFN Salmon wood carving for sale. Carved by Kevin George of the Tla-o-a-qui-aht First Nations located on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Kevin has been carving most of his life of 50 years in this year of 2017. Every native person holds the salmon in the highest regard. The salmon represents life. Carved in a traditional manner with cedar wood. Commercial paints were utilized. Carved in the year 1997 as a house warming gift. The house was sold and the salmon swims on looking for a new place to live.
