We have been beading together to bring us closer spiritually. We can sit down for hours together beading, web designing, communicating and building a stronger mother daughter relationship. The art form has been passed down in our family generation to generation from mother to daughter just for this purpose.
Everyone that comes into eye contact with our work tends to purchase at least one dreamcatcher.
Soon people are buying quite a few. Suddenly people as far as Ontario are buying our work.
We have always owned a computer and I personally have been associated with them since the days of the punch cards. Soon we decided to create a dreamcatcher website to give the world a window to our culture.
Our family is so big, some carvers soon were on the site and we became Sacred Circle Native Art.
We have so much fun building the website and making dreamcatchers. My daughter Danielle is in grade 7and is computer savvy enough to design our webpage herself in FrontPage 97, save the changes, download the changes to our server using a File Transfer Protocol program, then go look at changes on the website, and love doing it.
We own a Sony digital camera. A camera that uses a 3.5 " floppy disk. Danielle can take pictures and edit them in Corel Photo Paint and save them to the proper directory to use in our web building program. She also use CorelDraw 7 to create published pages.
We effectively make our own product, take our own digital pictures, build our own website and market it all ourselves.

CHEK TELEVISION 15 MINUTES of FAME
Barb and daughter Danielle appeared on a Chek 6 television show called Nanaimo Report. It aired April 25th 1998 at 5:00 pm. The show was about the beaded dreamcatchers the girls create and distribute internationally. Dreamcatcher legends were discussed.
